Dating back in parts to 1710 the Fairy Falls Hotel takes its name from the local attraction nearby where, to this day, visitors are invited to enjoy the benefits of the Roman Spa. It is a welcoming traditional inn occupying a tranquil location in the delightful village of Trefriw, part of the Snowdonia National Park.
For visiting tourists our detached Geirionydd Lodge provides comfortable en-suite accommodation furnished to a high standard. Three of these rooms are at ground floor level and the remaining three have attractive balustrades. The Fairy Falls Hotel is the perfect base from which to enjoy sightseeing, walking, horse riding, golf and fishing before returning here for either lunch or dinner and a drink in the company of friendly locals in our olde worlde style bar. The Fairy Falls Hotel is, as you will gather, an extremely popular local public house with a well stocked bar including a range of real ales.
Our Cottage Restaurant is open daily between 12 noon and 2.30pm and again between 6.00pm and 9.00pm (later during the main season). Here guests can enjoy daily specials, grills, or select from our table d’hôte or a la carte menus. Alternatively meals can be served in the bar or outside at one of our riverside tables. A popular carvery is served every Sunday lunchtime and, as with accommodation, advance booking is advisable. This applies particularly to Friday and Saturday evening meals.
The picture at the picturesque Fairy Falls is completed for the local community by the self contained Geirionnydd Restaurant and Function Suite where for weddings, anniversaries, birthdays and engagements etc; up to 120 people can enjoy themselves to the full with the added benefit of our music and dance licence.
